Part of OuterLink’s field-proven satellite communications platform, the CP-3i terminal provides tracking, fleet management, and Automated Flight Following for both fixed and rotor-wing aircraft. The CP-3i has been designed to deliver high-quality data transmission of real-time aircraft location updates, messages, and in-flight data to your dispatch & operations center. The terminal works with voice and text messaging components in the OuterLink suite, that provide 2-way communication with aircraft. With the CP-3i, there is no sacrificing safety at the cost of position-reporting settings. With automatic position reporting settings that go as low as 5 seconds (and 3 seconds for Mayday), OuterLink’s CP-3i offers the industry’s most cost-effective solution by delivering 30 second recording and 1 minute position reports (3 second reports in Mayday) for a flat monthly fee.

Built in-house, according to our customers’ specifications, Console delivers a host of tools for dispatchers and operators. - 8 discrete sensor input ports and 8 discrete actuator output ports for interfacing to various aircraft systems
- Each input port may trigger a transmission upon change of state, cause emergency transmissions, or report events such as “Wheels up,” “Engine over temp,” “Door unlocked,” etc.
- The CP-3i’s RS-232 serial data ports connect with displays and external processors such as vibration sensors, Flght Data Computer (FDC), or Electronic Flight Bag (EFB)
- Reports that could be sent to a User’s Operations Center include: OOOI, fuel burn, exceedances, and Flight Plans; for example, a dispatch release to an individual aircraft, or a weather report to a fleet
