CP3i and OuterLink Voice
Panel
OuterLink Corporation today
announced that the Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA)
has issued an amendment to
a previously issued amendment
to STC #SR09424RC was issued
by the FAA to include OuterLink
CP-3i and OuterLink Voice
Panel on the Bell 407 helicopter.
The OuterLink CP-3i transceiver
provides users with a powerful
computing platform on which
to build functionality for
data acquisition, analysis,
storage and transmission of
critical information. The
OuterLink Voice Panel enables
pilots to send and receive
voice messages in a controlled
environment without interruption
of pilot duties.
A Supplemental Type Certificate
is a document issued by the
FAA approving a product modification.
The STC defines the product
design change, states how
the modification affects the
existing type design, and
lists serial number effectivity.
It also identifies the certification
basis listing specific regulatory
compliance for the design
change.
