Lowell, MA – June 5, 2007

OuterLink’s mobile asset management platform meets rigorous requirement
OuterLink Corporation today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for its mobile asset management solution. OuterLink’s mobile asset management platform, OuterLink CP-3/CP-3i earned certification to be installed on the following Bell 206 helicopters:
- Bell 206A
- Bell 206B
- Bell 206L
- Bell 206L-1
- Bell 206L-3
- Bell 206L-4
A Supplemental Type Certificate is a document issued by the FAA approving a product modification. The STC defines the product design change, states how the modification affects the existing type design, and lists serial number effectivity.
“Our ability to easily install and quickly begin tracking aircraft makes OuterLink an easy choice for aviation companies seeking to improve safety and operations,” said Paul Newcomb, president of OuterLink Corpporation. “We will continue to pursue certification with Bell and other leading aircraft manufacturers to make our solutions available on any aircraft of choice.”
