OuterLink CORPORATION APPOINTS ANDREW JOSEPH AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

New CEO also joins OuterLink’s Board of Directors
OuterLink Corporation, a satellite mobile asset management solutions provider for the aero medical, government and air taxi industries, today announced the appointment of Andrew Joseph as Chief Executive Officer. In addition to the CEO appointment, Mr. Joseph has also been named to OuterLink’s Board of Directors. Mr. Joseph joins OuterLink from Corel Corporation (NASDAQ: CREL) where he served as Vice President of Business Development since 1994.

Mr. Joseph is a 20 year technology industry veteran. As Corel’s Vice President, Business Development, he was responsible for the company’s global business development strategy which included building alliances with large technology organizations, joint ventures, OEM arrangements, mergers & acquisitions and key partnerships. During his tenure at Corel, he was responsible for driving corporate development strategy which led to the acquisitions of WinZip and InterVideo. As a member of the executive team Mr. Joseph was also involved in critical aspects of the company’s IPO in May 2006.
Prior to joining Corel, Mr. Joseph was an independent consultant working with high-profile technology organizations, such as ProfitLogic (acquired by Oracle), ATG, OrderMotion, NewScale, mValent and Hurwitz Associates, to create and implement business development strategies. He formed alliances with tier one technology vendors on behalf of clients, while helping secure and implement a range of other strategic alliances, OEM arrangements, and channel and marketing programs.
Previously, Mr. Joseph held several executive positions including Chief Operating Officer at Beaconvision where he managed a major company acquisition, and served as Vice President of Business Development at CommercialWare where he was responsible for developing strategic alliances and joint ventures. He has also held senior sales and marketing positions at Hancock Software, OpenOrders (acquired by IBM), and The Net Collaborative.
Mr. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Atlantic Union College.
