OuterLink transceivers are at the heart of its satellite mobile asset management solution. The CP-3i (air) and CP-4i (ground) serve as a platform for the collection of date, time and location tracking data and is the first OuterLink platform to support two-way messaging. The platform provides Automatic Position Reporting without pilot/driver intervention and features an internal GPS unit. Additionally, the CP-3i/CP-4i can accept GPS and other navigation data from alternate navigation or tracking systems. |

OuterLink Voice Panel (OVP)
The OuterLink OVP is an option that works in tandem with the OuterLink CP-3i satcom data terminal to provide a voice messaging system via an aircraft’s audio distribution system. |

OuterLink Voice & Video Recorder (OVVR)
An optional extension of the OuterLink CP-3i satellite mobile asset management platform, the OuterLink Voice & Video Recorder provides flight data recorder functionality sufficient to meet the number of inputs and length of recording desired by the FAA and those recommended by ICAO.

CP-4i Pelican Case Kit (portable unit)
The ability to quickly and easily equip a vehicle with a satellite mobile asset tracking and management solution is delivered via the OuterLink’s CP-4i Pelican Case Kit. This portable unit features the OuterLink CP-4i satellite transceiver unit and magnetic OuterLink antenna in a waterproof case, making it easy to transport and install in a waiting vehicle.

OuterLink CommTrack™
OuterLink CommTrack™ software displays mobile asset information in both textual and graphical (map) formats for tracking one or more assets in a command center. Additionally, OuterLink CommTrack supports two-way communication between dispatch and vehicles in the field. OuterLink CommTrack leverages an open architecture approach to displaying data and capturing communication, and is able to be integrated with any display system application, regardless of vendor. This ability to provide a centralized view of mobile asset operations makes CommTrack™ a powerful base-station platform for mobile asset management.

Through its strategic partnership with Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV), OuterLink delivers its customers a reliable, cost-effective messaging and information services. The OuterLink Messaging Service enables 2-way data messaging and communication between assets and central dispatch facilities. Features include:
